Mutton Keema

I have always been a fan of Indian food,  be it South or North. My late Pa, he's a fan of keema and he always tapao back chapatis and keema from this famous coffee shop stall at Norris Road. I replicate this recipe years ago to my taste. So this is a simple recipe without any complications. Beef, pork or chicken can be used for this Keema recipe.

Mutton Keema

200 gms of mince mutton
2 cooked potatoes, diced
1 onion , diced
100 gms of green peas
1tbsp meat curry powder ( mixed with water to a paste)
2 green chillies
I onion
4 cloves garlics
4 slices ginger
1/2 salt
1 tsp sugar

Blend together the green chillies, garlics, ginger and onion. Leave aside.
Heat up 2 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the onion till translucent.
Add in the green chilli mixture and fry till fragrant.
Pour in the curry paste and continue to fry till oil seeps thru.
Add in the mince meat and stir to combine together with the cooked diced potatoes, and green peas.
Add some water if you want more gravy.
Bring to a boil and turn off fire.
Serve with homemade butter naan.
